What's covered on the care plans?

Annual Gas Boiler Service

Your gas boiler should be serviced annually to ensure it is safe, efficient and not about to cause a costly breakdown. If it’s still in warranty with the manufacturer then it most likely needs annual servicing to validate the warranty, too.

As part of your annual gas boiler service, we’ll ensure there is no harmful carbon monoxide fumes being generated and/or entering your home, helping to keep you safe. 

A standard test to check your central heating systems flow rate, helping us understand if your system is working as it should. 

Whatever heating controls you have installed, we will check they are giving you the control they should. If not, we can get things fixed, replaced or upgraded. 

Boiler breakdown cover, taking care of all parts and labour on economically viable repairs (determined by Paul – Chief Engineer). 

If your boiler cannot be repaired then the funding towards replacement is as follows:

  • 1-7 years boiler replaced for £500
  • 8-10 years replaced for £1200
  • 10+ years then discounted by 10%)

Breakdown cover extends to pumps, valves, radiators and expansion vessels, all of which can be repaired or replaced as appropriate.

Cover extends to the gas pipes on the HOME side of your gas meter (other side is covered by CADENT). 

Cover extends leaks elsewhere in the property not related to the central heating system, including taps, showers and other pipework. 

Toiler repairs such as syphons, values and ballcocks

Our Partners at LockFort Security can attend your property to perform a locksmiths security assessment, checking for common vulnerabilities that could easily be improved by a lock upgrade, and quote you should any vulnerabilities be found. 

 

Our relationship with Lockfort Security means that if you are locked out of your home, a locksmith will come out to get you back in FREE OF CHARGE up to 10pm, providing they are able to use non-destructive entry. Should destructive entry be needed, new lock(s) will be supplied at 50% of the normal price. 

Minor electrics can be carried out such as plug changes, lightbulb changes etc.
